Q. Is airbrush tanning safe?
A. Yes, airbrush tanning is safe and FDA approved. Our tanning formula is 100% organic. The primary ingredient, DHA, in the tanning
solution works with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin to produce a natural tan exactly like the sun, but without damaging
your skin.

Q. Will I be orange?
A. NO. We will not make you look like an Oompa Loompa! Our tanning formula provides a golden brown color. The hue added is an
olive color made to make the skin look natural or olive toned. There is no orange discoloration.

Q. What do I wear while I tan?
A. You may wear as much or as little as you like. Our technicians are very professional.

Q. Will it wear off on my clothes?
A. Once you shower, the tanning formula will not wear off on your clothes.

Q. Does moisturizing help the tan last longer?
A. YES! And we have many products that will help extend the life of your tan, ask us about them when you come in!

Q. What's the difference between an organic airbrush tan and other types of airbrush tanning?
A. Our airbrush tanning products only contain natural organic ingredients. We do not use any artificial coloring or dyes that can
irritate some skin types and stain clothing.

Q. How long before I can take a shower?
A. If necessary you may shower after just four hours, but it is best to wait a full eight hours, if possible.

Q. How does the tanning spray make my skin darker?
A. The primary ingredient, DHA, in the tanning solution works with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin. In approximately
four to eight hours, this substance oxidizes and turns the topmost layers of the dermis a natural golden brown.

Q. What's the difference between dark, medium, and light solutions?
A. The three solutions each contain a different percentage of the ingredient DHA. The difference between light and medium is
approximately 2%, and the difference between medium and dark is about 2%.

Q. Will chlorine, saltwater, or other substances affect my tan?
A. After you have waited the initial four to eight hours for your tan to fully cure, you can continue to lead your life as normal.
Your tan will not spontaneously rub off. Saltwater has never been known to create any discolorations or fading in our tanning
products. On occasion, we do hear of chlorine affecting some tans, but these cases vary widely. Ultimately, the effect of chlorine
depends heavily on an individual's skin type. The only way to know if chlorine will make any difference on your tan is to try it out.

Q. Now that I have a tan, does that mean I'm protected from the sun?
A. No. You can still suntan and even burn through your tan. You should always wear sun block to protect your skin from harmful UV
rays.

Q. How long will my tan last?
A. Our airbrush tans usually last between 7 and 10 days. Some people will get as many as 14 days of use before fading. The number of
days your tan lasts will depend on various factors such as your skin type, frequency of exfoliation, and other variables.

Q. What should I do to maintain my tan?
A. We carry various products that you can apply at home or anywhere you travel to maintain and extend the life of your tan. Our
lotions, sprays, and creams contain the same ingredients that we use in our airbrush tanning.

Q. Can I shave, exfoliate, and apply lotion or makeup to my skin after tanning?
A. Yes! You can continue to use the same moisturizers, cosmetics, and shaving supplies as usual.

Q. Will my tan stain my clothes?
A. No. While you may get some tanning solution on your clothing or bed sheets after it has been initially applied, it will all wash
out when you clean your laundry.
Q. How long does it take the tanning solution to fully tan my skin?
A. The solution will tan your skin within four to eight hours. We recommend that you wait the full eight hours after application
before you shower.
Q. How will the tan look when it fades?
A. Your airbrush tan will be completely unique to you, including how it looks before and after it fades. The best way to find out is
to observe your skin to find out how it reacts.

Q. What is DHA?
A. DHA stands for Dihydroxyacetone. This substance is derived from sugar beets. When applied, it reacts with amino acids in the skin
and oxygen in the air to darken the color. As an analogy, consider what happens to an apple when you cut it in half. The pale inner
flesh darkens when exposed to the air. This same process allows DHA to tan your skin.

Q. What's the difference between DHA and bronzer?
A. While DHA is what actually tans your skin, a bronzer is what you see when your tan is first applied. This part of the solution will
wash off when you first shower after your airbrush tanning appointment. Mostly, a bronzer allows the airbrush specialist see where the
tanning solution has already been applied. The bronzer in our tanning solution can also give you a fairly good idea of what your skin
will look like when the DHA fully takes effect in four to eight hours.
